How does your body wash make you feel?
Since becoming a Dove Mom ambassador a few months ago, I’ve been using the new Nutrium Moisture formula on a daily basis. I’ve never been picky about the body wash for my husband and I, however; my kids have never used anything except for the Dove body wash for sensitive skin. When my son was diagnosed with eczema as an infant, the Dove body wash for sensitive skin was the only formula that was gentle enough to clean without drying out his skin.
I was excited to see the changes that Dove had made with the Nutrium Moisture.
The new Dove body wash formula contains Nutrium Moisture with 100% natural moisturizers. With these moisturizers, skin can absorb and replenishes lipids lost during cleansing to keep skin smooth and nourished.
I was curious to see how the new formula would be different, as we were already in love with the older Dove body wash formula. The biggest difference in the new sensitive formula was how it lathered and how it made my son’s skin feel. The consistency felt like a thick expensive lotion and it left my son’s skin feeling soft and smooth. We didn’t have problems with the older formula, but noticed a small change with the Nutrium Moisture formula.
Before becoming an ambassador, my husband and I would use anything that was on sale at the store. We weren’t loyal to a specific body wash. Since using the Dove Deep Moisture body wash, I’ve really noticed a difference in how my skin feels. Living in the Midwest, the Winter weather is dry and leaves your skin feeling dry, scratchy and tight. The Deep Moisture formula with Nutrium Moisture is wonderful for this dry climate. After a hot shower, I used to slather my body from shoulders to toes with lotion. This was the only way that I wouldn’t feel like my skin was going to snap. While lotion is still appreciated, I no longer feel so dry.

I have been buying different brands of body wash without finding one I really liked. They all either don’t moisturize well or they didn’t make me feel clean enough. I’m going to try Dove and see if it will work for me.
